The Superintendent is the Chief Executive Officer of the district. The position is one of two direct reports (the other being the District's Treasurer) to the Board of Education. The Superintendent works with the Board of Education to set District goals and policies, as well as:
- Determine the educational needs and aspirations of every Groveport Madison student, staff member and the entire community — and how to best engage each group;
- Identify educational and socioeconomic trends which may impact on District operations or goals; and,
- Provide overall leadership while developing sound practices to manage the day-to-day operations of the District.
